I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Forget the Turkey…I’m just glad it’s now socially acceptable to blast Christmas music at all times of day. Not that I would ever do that, say…in June. Definitely not.

Anyway.

We had a really nice day yesterday. Holidays used to bring quite a bit of anxiety for me…so much focus on food. Yesterday was business as usual and it felt soooooo good. I used to work out furiously in the morning, then eat like a bird until dinner came around. Yah, that plan always backfires. Best to just treat it like “business as usual!”

Speaking of socially acceptable…don’t you just love that it’s okay to have sangria in the middle of the day!? At least it is when we get together…

The perfect glass. The first perfect glass that is.

I love this stuff. We had it for my 21st birthday earlier this year too. Yummmm.

Oh, and it’s also socially acceptable to eat your vegetables with brown sugar and pecans on Thanksgiving..

Sweet Potato casserole. Enough said.

It was a glorious day spent with not one family, but two! We had dinner with Dad’s side…

Oh…hey Dad.

And of course, anytime spent with Nana is fun. She said “Oh. You look beautiful! I always new you got my looks.” Gotta love her.

After dinner we headed over to spend some time with Mom’s side My cousin is quite the pianist and I love to sing, so of course, a duet was born and we spent a good chunk of the evening sitting at the piano laughing and singing. It’s definitely socially acceptable to belt “Where are You Christmas?” and “Love Song” for hours during the holidays.

Typical. Didn’t happen to snap any pictures, but a good time was had by all. In fact, we stayed their until past 11:00pm! Good times.

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful too. No shopping for me today… Gotta save those pennies for Paris Wink. My yoga studio has just one class today…a two hour “hot flow,” where it’s definitely socially acceptable to breathe heavily and sweat profusely. Me likey.
